Charity News:

In previous years, donations were made to the following Charities:

• Essex Air Ambulance £50.00

• Haven House Children's Hospice £50.00

• West Essex Hospices Appeal £100.00

• Essex Provincial Grand Charity £100.00

We made a donation of £50.00 to Teddies for Loving Care (TLC): this was matched by a further £50.00 from the Lodge of Instruction and a cheque for £100.00 was passed to them.

We made a donation of £250 to the Provincial Emergency Fund supporting those affected by the devastating floods in the West of England and in October, 2014 we presented a further £250 to the Provincial Charity

We sent a contribution of £500 to the Essex Provincial Charity who are making a special donation to the Scout movement in Essex and at the December, 2015 meeting we agreed a further donation of £250 to the Essex Air Ambulance.

We have also made donations in support of a retirement home in South Woodham Ferrers and an annual dinner for members of the Burma Star Association

Having posted over £13,000 to the Essex 2022 Festival, we have now achieved Grand Patron status in aid of Masonic Charity: we are very happy that a small Lodge like St. Michaels has been able to make such a contribution to this most excellent cause!
